Black light theatre IMAGE in Cyprus

Black Light Theatre, also called Black Theatre, is a unique form of theatre based on the inability of the human eye to distinguish black on black, a unique show that combines many different techniques and methods.

In Black Light Theatre performances, some of the actors are dressed entirely in black, while others wear incredibly beautiful bright fluorescent costumes. Because the stage is in black, the audience only sees what the creators of the production want them to see.

"The best of IMAGE" is a 90-minute compilation of scenes and pictures from some of the most successful productions that Black Light Theatre has presented to audiences in its 30 years of existence.

The wit and ingenuity in the productions is evident in the seemingly simple but stunningly imaginative and skilful stunts, in the magnificent dancing and in the wordless comedy. This show is a unique combination of rhythmic gymnastics, colourful luminescent costumes and amazing skill of the performers! The mesmerising music playing in the hall makes what is happening on stage even more exciting! With its mystery "The best of IMAGE" enchants audiences from all over the world: from small to large.

The show is performed without words in the style of pantomime.

What attracts foreign audiences from all over the world is that the show is suitable for absolutely everyone, regardless of language skills and age. In order to understand what is happening on stage, it is enough just to let your mind wander and freely interpret what you see. The performances are based on lighting effects, pantomime, acrobatic elements and modern dance.
